Back to the Future II Jacket on Ebay

October 22, 2008

Okay, so back at the end of July, I posted up some Back to the Future memorabilia that had been making waves on the net via eBay auctions. This included the original Nike Hyperdunk 2015’s prototype (sold for $5,300) and the original hoverboard used in BTTF2 by Michael J. Fox (sold for $55,000). These two items were great, but I stated that I, myself, was going to wait for Marty McFly’s Auto-Dry Jacket to surface. Well, today is the day.

Unfortunately it’s not the actual film prop. Nor does it have the auto-dry feature everyone swooned over in the film. But it is a damn close replica, and it’s being auctioned off on eBay. Check out the auction here, it ends in 4 days (10/26) and starts with a bidding price of $399. Perfect for anyone trying to find a last minute Halloween costume.

Check out more shots of the Jacket after the jump.

One of the big pieces of news making rounds is the Nike Hyperdunk 2015’s. Now that Back To The Future has become cool again, past memorabilia has started to pop up. First it was the original BTF2 Nike shoe prototype (sold for $5,300):

Now it’s all about the original Marty McFly Hoverboard.

It’s being auctioned off on ebay with a reserve price of $30k. It looks to be in excellent condition. To find out more info, check it’s ebay page.

I’m still waiting for them to release that jacket that he’s wearing…
